Charlemagne Medieval Sword
This is the famous sword of Charlemagne.
He was the son of King Pippin and was crowned king after the death of
his father. This sword has a very decorative pommel with lions and art
works followed by the wire knit handle and the well decorated guard. The
guard is decorated with the head of an unknown animal. The pommel and
guard are brass colored. The blade is 440 stainless steel with a mirror
polish finish and a vine design on the upper part of the blade on both
sides. This sword comes equipped with an enormous wooden sword plaque
with the length of 44.5 inch. This sword is only for decorative us.

Charlemagne, son of King Pippin the Short
and Bertrada of Laon, is crowned king, after the death of his father in
the 768. The reign of Charlemagne lasted forty seven years, plenty of
wars, during which he expanded his kingdom unto the Iberian Peninsula
and the center of Europe (Italy, Germania, Sajonia and Dacia), there was
then the denomination of "Carolus Magnus" and his coronation emperor of
western Europe. The low maintenance stainless steel blade is mirror
polished. Decorative use only.
